Hey there! I hope everything is going well for you. Thanks for your interest in knowing more about me. I am currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for CADD Lab (CE432), here I teach AUTO CAD, Civil 3D, and Basics of Rivet for Undergraduates. I am pursuing my Masters in Structural Engineering at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I'm an aspiring P.E.
Right from the senior year during my Bachelor's, I wanted to pursue my career in Structural Engineering as I found my passion in Structural Analysis and Design which is the key motivation to pursue Masters at SIUC. I wanted to explore the structural engineering procedures before going for Master’s, to better my understanding of concepts. So, during my Bachelor’s, I worked as a Structural Engineering Intern-Design where I used to check the structural design drawing details and I learned the reaction loads in structural systems of G+19 residential RCC buildings. Later under the supervision senior engineers, I was involved in the drafting of design drawings using AutoCAD. I'm so glad to have worked with the wonderful team.
I always love to take-up new challenges and accomplish them, which is one of the best ways I believe in to rise higher in my career. Thank you for your time and please feel free to contact me. I wish good luck in your future endeavors.

organize the Blood Drive for Home Coming, developed new ideas for attracting the blood donars and inspired them why should they donate blood.
Teamwork, planning, communication skills and the lessons learnt in LDP were utilized effectively
• Science Center Project: Utilised my drafting skills in designing a cage on AutoCAD for Iguana at Science Center,Carbondale
• Dr Spector's 2nd Biannual Pancake Breakfast: Planned and executed the event perfectly for math students, Raised funds from Waiterio, USG and also from Chancellors Office. Used mobile applications (i.e. TRELLO and WAITERIO) for Planning and Executing the event
May 2017 - Aug 2018
• Did a Research on comparison of ductility, stiffness and strength for Welded Flange plate connections with different Cover Plate and different W sections for beams
• Designed the connections using FEMA 350- Recommended Seismic Design Criteria for New Steel Moment - Frame Buildings and all the drawings were drawn in Auto CAD
• Utilised AutoCAD Drawings and Modelled the connections in a Finite Element Modelling Software called NISA and ran the models, this paper will be published by the end of September 2018
• Investigated the structural behavior of the beams in NISA and also broke the structure in to finite elements in NISA so as to find the location of plastic hinge for different W Sections
Aug 2017 - Aug 2018
• Developed drafting skills for the undergraduate students by teaching
them CAD Lab (AutoCAD, Rivet, and Civil 3D)
• Explained AutoCAD and Civil 3D to the students, assigned projects,
managed class schedule, and evaluated exams
•Presented detailed procedure in the form of handouts on each lesson of civil 3D i.e. grading, volume cut and fills, surfacing, creating corridors in Civil 3D
• Included a new project as a part of my course to design a duplex building on autocad, so as to get the work exposure to students
May 2017 - August 2017
• Assisted the faculty, staff, and students to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues as well as assisting in the development of new and existing IT service offerings.
